Training Schedule

Each individual is precious. We have Zero tolerance for violence in our programs and trainings. We choose to teach skills that effectively control violent behaviors and actions that threaten oneself or others. Self defense is not only defending your own person. It is also saving another person from their own actions.

Solid Training

We understand that communication is the key to resolving conflict. Because of this, we emphasize the communication aspects at all of our trainings. It is important to utilize and exhaust our verbal skills when safety is not a factor. The combination of communication with physical skills is taught to maintain a safer environment and better serve the clients in our care.

Personal Instruction

Matthew Cooper, the Head Instructor of the Positive Control Systems program, provides staff and Instructor level trainings that are customized to the needs of your school or facility. He and his instructors provide live hands-on instruction to line staff as well as training individual staff members to become certified Instructors in the Positive Control Systems program.

Qualified

The Positive Control Systems program has served the Troubled Youth Industry since 1994. Over the years, we have spent thousands of hours teaching these skills to both State and Private facilities and programs across the country. Our systems are taught in Wilderness programs, Residential treatment, Lock Down programs, Mental Health programs and more. Our system works.

Communication is in the details. ~ Matthew Cooper
